:hover dynamic pseudo-class not rendered

Amaya 8.8.4 refresh, Windows 98 SE

Properties attached to a :hover pseudo-class selector are not rendered in
the Formatted view.

(There's a discrepancy in the doc regarding selector support.  The release
history states that 8.8.4 has "Full support of CSS 2.1 selectors", but the
CSS implementation list at http://www.w3.org/Amaya/User/CSSStatus.html,
which was updated at the same time 8.8.4 was released, says, for
pseudo-classes, "Ok except pseudoclasses first-line and first-letter." and
states that "+" is not yet supported.  Which is correct?)
