RE: virus found in amaya 9.2.2 winXP

This is not the first time this has been reported.  

An image is not an executable (different file structure); but can contain the same sequence of bytes as the signature of a virus by happenstance.

I suppose it would be possible to tweak the image - perhaps re-ordering the palette - to avoid this spurious detection.
