Delete key acts weird

Did the behavior of the Delete key change in Amaya 9.2? I expect it to 
delete the character after the cursor (or the selection if something is 
selected).

It still deletes the selection, but if you have nothing selected, then 
it deletes something AFTER the current paragraph.

This is driving me crazy. Is there any way to change that?
