I downloaded the Amaya binary today (Feb. 4). When I ran the program I
got the following error.

819:amaya: rld: Fatal Error: cannot map soname 'libnsl.so' using any
of the filenames
/usr/lib/libnsl.so:/lib/libnsl.so:/lib/cmplrs/cc/libnsl.so:/usr/lib/cmpl
rs/cc/libnsl.so:/usr/lib/libnsl.so.1:/lib/libnsl.so.1:/lib/cmplrs/cc/lib
nsl.so.1:/usr/lib/cmplrs/cc/libnsl.so.1: -- either the file does not
exist or the file is not mappable (with reason indicated in previous
msg)

I am running on an SGI using version 5.3 of the operating system. I
didn't find a response to previous inquires about this problem in your
mail archive.
