a while back i posted a message saying that amaya 1.3c was asking for 'libnsl.so'. The actual error is: 114 ~ > amaya 1393:amaya: rld: Fatal Error: cannot successfully map soname 'libnsl.so' under any of the filenames /usr/cineon/lib/ifl/libnsl.so:/usr/lib/libnsl.so:/lib/libnsl.so:/lib/cmplrs/cc/libnsl.so:/usr/lib/cmplrs/cc/libnsl.so:/usr/cineon/lib/ifl/libnsl.so.1:/usr/lib/libnsl.so.1:/lib/libnsl.so.1:/lib/cmplrs/cc/libnsl.so.1:/usr/lib/cmplrs/cc/libnsl.so.1: now later there was a post that the binary release had been re-compiled to remove this dependency. however i just downloaded the latest version -rw-rw-r-- 1 59971 69 1840444 Nov 18 13:19 amaya-SGI-1.1c.tar.gz and it still has this dependency. should i just grab the source instead ?? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Geoff Horne horne@dfilm.com.au Technology Manager, Dfilm Services ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "Don't take life too seriously, you don't get out of it alive anyway" Burt WardReceived on Wednesday, 21 January 1998 04:19:27 GMT
