amaya.css

I have been trying to set up personal preferences by using a 
$(HOME)/.amaya.css file. Here are the preferences:

BLOCKQUOTE P { text-indent : 0pt; line-height : 16pt; 
text-align:justify } 
LI P { text-indent : 0pt; line-height : 16pt; text-align:   justify } 
P { text-indent : 15pt; line-height : 16pt; text-align:   justify } 
UL P { text-indent : 0pt; line-height : 16pt; text-align:   justify } 
DD P { text-indent : 0pt; line-height : 16pt; text-align:   justify } 
BODY { magnification : 1 }

When I load a file into Amaya, though, there is no effect on the 
displayed text. Do I need to do do something to activate the 
preferences from the .amaya.css file?
