I found that using env UBUNTU_MENUPROXY= amaya %u Instead of sh -c 'UBUNTU_MENUPROXY= amaya %u' In /usr/share/applications/amaya.desktop Exec works better. When I used sh -c 'UBUNTU_MENUPROXY= amaya %u' in a file which path had spaces like '/home/foo/Desktop/My Folder/index.html', amaya tried to open only '/home/foo/Desktop/My' this doesn't happen when using env.
