    action-983?

    <trackbot> action-983 -- David Bolter to Create MSAA/IA2
special case test cases from existing generated test cases for
    the tables. -- due 2012-03-14 -- OPEN

    <trackbot> [8]https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/983

       [8] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/983

JS: I wonder if Michael has an opinion.

MC: when I created the test cases, it auto generated them from
    the table.
... there are some test cases where only the first line was put
    in.
... But, when I looked at it recently, it looked like it was
    all there.
... I'm no sure if this action is to just check the
    auto-generated tests.

CS: this action was initiated at a face-to-face.

MC: to the best of my knowledge, this is either overcome by
    events or completed by someone.

CS: I think we should call this done. David?

DB: we can re-open if we are wrong.

    resolved: close action-983 as done.

<MichaelC> action-983: we think this is done

<trackbot> Notes added to action-983 Create MSAA/IA2 special
case test cases from existing generated test cases for the
    tables..

    <MichaelC> close action-983

    <trackbot> Closed action-983.

    action-1102?

<trackbot> action-1102 -- David Bolter to Get someone to look
at the SHOULD statements in the Role Mapping table. Can these
be changed from "SHOULD be exposed" to "expose as" -- due
    2012-07-25 -- OPEN

    table

      [10] http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/aria-implementation/#mapping_role_table

    DB: one for alert

    JS: alertdialog
    ... and button

DB: I think if these are here, it was an agreement reached in
    one of these meetings.

    [11]http://www.w3.org/2012/07/24-aapi-minutes#item02

      [11] http://www.w3.org/2012/07/24-aapi-minutes#item02

JS: this comes from an old AAPI meeting.
... the question is: if you add aria-haspopup to a button, does
    it become a menubutton?
... it looks like the action was partly done.

DB: what is the import of removing the should on aria-pressed
    for button?

JS: it becomes a MUST and that incurs a test case.

DB: I think it should be okay.
... cynthia and I are leaning to just leaving it.

JS: I think it is a must, but I'm not going to fall on my sword
    for it.
... the spec states that aria-pressed on a button role turns it
    into a toggle button.
... so why are we wishy-washy with a SHOULD here?

DB: I think this goes back to when we were trying to make IE
    and FF interoperable.

<davidb> DB: we had a normalized MSAA column

CS: If there is extra work, I think we should leave it or make
    it 1.1

    JS: MIchael have an opinion.

CS: that's just a get this thing done.

DB: I see it as small.
... If making it normative made things more accessible, I'd be
    for making this normative.

resolved; move the action to 1.1.

    <davidb> action-1145?

<trackbot> action-1145 -- David Bolter to Replace the "should
be" the sentence "The structure should be reflected in the
accessibility tree as directed by aria-level" with "is". -- due
    2013-01-17 -- OPEN

    <trackbot>
    [12]https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1145

      [12] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1145

DB: Alex agreed to remove the statement.

JS: It looks like it was already deleted from aria-level

DB: can we delete from aria-posinset

JS: Yes, give me the action to remove that sentence from
    aria-posinset.
... let's continue from the top with Cynthia actions.

    action-982?

<trackbot> action-982 -- Cynthia Shelly to Create UIA special
case test cases from existing generated test cases. -- due
    2013-07-01 -- OPEN

      [13] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/982

CS: I think this is done. Rich and I did a bunch of these.
... we may have missed some, but I think it's done.

    JS: close it?

    CS: yes.

resolved: Close action 982 as complete.

action-982: we think this is done

<trackbot> Notes added to action-982 Create UIA special case
test cases from existing generated test cases..

    close action-982

    <trackbot> Closed action-982.

    action-1104?

<trackbot> action-1104 -- Cynthia Shelly to Define what the
accessibility API mapping is for UIA on aria-describedby in
section 5.5.1 table when the element does not exist in the
accessibility tree such as when css: display:none applies --

      [14] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1104

CS: in UIA express, we just throw it in the legacy field.
... We don't have an implementation of pure UIA yet, so push it
    to aria 1.1

Resolved: move action 1104 to aria 1.1

    action-1104: moving to aria 1.1

<trackbot> Notes added to action-1104 Define what the
accessibility API mapping is for UIA on aria-describedby in
section 5.5.1 table when the element does not exist in the
accessibility tree such as when css: display:none applies.

    action-1255?

<trackbot> action-1255 -- Cynthia Shelly to Look into toggle
patterns and how that needs to be modified in the uaig. -- due

      [15] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1255

CS: have not got to that yet, but I want to.

resolved: move due date to the 17th.

    action-1257?

      [17] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/issues/595

resolved: move due date to a week from now.

    action-1106?

<trackbot> action-1106 -- Michael Cooper to Sort UA behaviour
test cases separately from AAPI inspection test cases -- due
    2012-08-20 -- OPEN

    <trackbot>
    [18]https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1106

      [18] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1106

JS: I think you have done that.

MC: having separated the test suites, I think this might be
done. Let me look at the minutes.
... we can consider this done. All the aria test cases are in
the AAPI inspection test. The UAIG are in the separate suite.
... let me take another quick look.
... skimming the test cases to see if there is anything
    missing.
... there may be a few tests, so we should keep the action
    open.

JS: could you add a note to the action, so we don't forget why
    we are keeping it open?

    MC: okay.

<MichaelC> action-1106: Most of the ARIA tests (test suite 1)
are AAPI but there are a few that might be non AAPI

<trackbot> Notes added to action-1106 Sort UA behaviour test
cases separately from AAPI inspection test cases.

<MichaelC> action-1106: could move those to test suite 2

<trackbot> Notes added to action-1106 Sort UA behaviour test
cases separately from AAPI inspection test cases.

    JS: change the due date?

MC: I'll set it to next Tuesday.

    <MichaelC> action-1106 due 17 Sept

<trackbot> Set action-1106 Sort UA behaviour test cases
separately from AAPI inspection test cases due date to
    2013-09-17.

MC: I suspect there are tests that have been marked invalid.

    action-1230?

<trackbot> action-1230 -- Michael Cooper to Ask Director if we
have to test every cell in the ARIA UAIG, or if we can just do
the columns, and if the UIA column can be considered
implementable by precedent from surrounding columns
particularly UIA Express -- due 2013-06-19 -- OPEN

    <trackbot>
    [19]https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1230

      [19] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1230

MC: the action is completed, but still in process of dealing
    with it.
... we informally think we can go forward with the UIA column
    blank.

JS: it's not going to change the UAIG, is it?

MC: it's possible. We might have to remove the UIA column.
... it will be prudent to mark that column at risk.
... so be prepared to remove it.
    ... but try not to.

CS: some of the UIA express does the UIA mapping.

MC: they are similar, but are they the same mapping layer.

CS: they are the same mapping layer, and there is a bridge
    between them.

MC: we'll need that as part of what we tell the director.

    action-1188?

<trackbot> action-1188 -- Joseph Scheuhammer to UAIG links to
hard-dated ARIA draft (wai-aria-20110118) should link to TR
    latest -- due 2013-04-09 -- OPEN

    <trackbot>
    [20]https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1188

      [20] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1188

JS: it was noticed that the link to aria spec is the CR version
    of the spec.
... James suggested it link to the current editor's draft.
... but, I noticed the text around link clearly state "CR" and
    gives a date about it.

MC: I think the generator goes through and attempts to update
    the links.
... pointing to the editor's is better for some ways.
... but pointing to the CR is best when the UAIG goes on TR.
... we have been careful to make just editorial changes to the
    spec.
... you could assign the action to me so that the generator
    creates the proper links.

resolved: re-assing action −1188 to MIchael as it is a build
    script problem.

    action-1219?

<trackbot> action-1219 -- Joseph Scheuhammer to UAIG: passive
RFC requirement: two instances of "The state change events MAY
be trimmed out for performance" Who is this requirement for?
Authors? UA? AT? Be specific. What does "trimmed out" mean? Be
    specific. -- due 2013-05-14 -- OPEN

    <trackbot>
    [21]https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1219

      [21] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1219

    [22]http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/aria-implementation/#mapping_event
    s_selection

      [22] http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/aria-implementation/#mapping_events_selection

CS: it's a MAY. We don't need to worry about.

JS: I will email alex/david about it.

CS: unless we want to change the MAY to a MUST or MUST NOT,
    don't worry about. it.

    action-1259?

<trackbot> action-1259 -- Michael Cooper to File a bug against
trackbot to post a link in the irc to the trackbot-created
    actions. ;-) -- due 2013-09-16 -- OPEN

    <trackbot>
    [23]https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1259

      [23] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1259

    action-1256?

    <trackbot> action-1256 -- Joseph Scheuhammer to Modify msaa+uia
express entry for aria-checked on menuitemradio button to use
msaa selectable state and selected proerty instead of uia
    togglepattern. -- due 2013-09-03 -- OPEN

      [24] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1256

JS: kind of tricky — need to add this text to both the
aria-checked section and the radio/menuitemradio section.
    Should I do that?

    CS: sounds okay to me.

JS: okay, that is how I'll do it.
... making a note in the action...

action-1256: add to radio/menuitemradio roles (paraphrase) "See
aria-selected for mapping aria-checked values for radio button
role". Similarly for menuitemradio role. add to aria-checked
(paraphrase) see aria-selected for radio and menuitemradio
    roles.

<trackbot> Notes added to action-1256 Modify msaa+uia express
entry for aria-checked on menuitemradio button to use msaa
selectable state and selected proerty instead of uia
    togglepattern..
