unfortunately, as you may already know from the blind carbon copy of my
original message to the site's maintainer, the DEED 2000 site is somewhat of an
embarrassment to the conference's organizers -- however, i've been working with
one of the organizers in an attempt to get the maintainers of the site to fix
both the technical and accessibility problems which currently plague it...

i will apprise you of any (substantial) progress in this area, for right now,
the DEED 2000 site is a mess
