The confusing period that occurs twice a year is coming up in two weeks.

Most European clocks shift back 1 hr on Sun. Oct. 27 2013.
Most of the US clocks shift back 1 hr a week later, Sun. Nov. 03 2013.
China and Japan do not observe DST.
