Microsoft Windows Guidelines for Accessible Software Design

Currently the guidelines are available only in Word and Text formats, so I
cannot give a URL to the following sections related to Selection, Focus.  

The section headings in the word document are:
Exposing Keyboard Focus
Multiple and extended selection
Distinguish between focus and selection
