Periodicals are presented in a way that is in compliance with applicable
standards of accessibility. Ensuring accessibility aids in discoverability
by
search engines and preservation as well as enabling all individuals to
access the content.
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.0, is a stable, referenceable
technical standard
developed through the W3C process. It has 12 guidelines that are organized
under 4 principles:
perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. For each guideline, there
are testable success criteria,
which are at three levels: A, AA, and AAA.
