Perhaps a Welsh pronunciation would be appropriate – I'm no expert but something like "Ack-ug" might result. It kind of looks like a Welsh word.

Dear WAI Interest Group,

Great news for Accessibility: the W3C membership and our Director, Tim Berners-Lee, have approved the re-charter of the WCAG Working Group!

However, under the new charter our name has officially changed. We are now the Accessibility Guidelines Working Group or AGWG...:-)

Please consider having your organization join the W3C and the new AGWG. The W3C has put out a Call for Participation in AGWG. We need all the expert help we can get building WCAG 2.1, and improving our resource docs and techniques.
