Media Accessibility User Requirements Working Group Note published

Dear WAI Interest Group Participants,

The W3C WAI Protocols and Formats Working Group (PFWG) announces the
finalization of Media Accessibility User Requirements as a Working Group
Note:
    http://www.w3.org/TR/media-accessibility-reqs/

This document presents the accessibility requirements users with
disabilities have with respect to audio and video on the web. It will be
useful for user agent developers and media content developers alike as
they exploit the power of HTML 5. It will aid broadcasters as they
publish their content on their web sites, and it will aid governmental
entities seeking to meet their legislated mandates to make governmental
web content accessible. More information about this publication is
available in the blog post:

As a Working Group Note this content is stable, and the Working Group
does not plan to make further changes. Should the need arise, however,
the document could be updated. Comments received on this document will
help the Working Group to decide if updates are needed, or will be taken
into account should a republication be planned. To comment, send email
