Dear WAI Interest Group participants,

WAI staff will be out and about in March and hope to meet up with many of you to talk about web accessibility. Visit with us at:

Judy - "Web Accessibility: Future Scan, and the Importance of Participatory Vigilance": A scan of upcoming changes in Web technologies; how these will affect accessibility; how W3C/WAI is addressing these; and how you can help.

Jeanne - "Video Accessibility in User Agents" panel: Video and player accessibility is changing rapidly. Standards are in flux and hotly debated. Learn the latest issues in accessible video and user agents.

Shawn - "Web Accessibility is About People: A Tour of New WAI Resources": Accessibility is about making the web work well for real people with disabilities. We'll tour through new WAI resources focusing on the user perspective.

Shawn - "Conducting Effective Accessibility Buy-In Sessions: A Key to Success": Get a clear plan and specific tips for garnering broad support across an organization for making their websites, software, hardware, and consumer products accessible.

Michael will be around the end of the week for an HTML Accessibility Task Force meeting.

This session is for you if:
* you want to expand your business, your experience, or your resume; OR
* you are not yet on the accessibility bandwagon, or even are against accessibility requirements; OR
* you believe in accessibility, but are having trouble getting your boss and/or clients to support it  --
(no matter what your accessibility experience, from new to accessibility to accessibility expert  no matter what your technical level).
