RE: Section 508 and WCAG 2.0

The Access Board's advisory committee on 255/508 (TEITAC) recommended that
any new regs harmonize with WCAG 2.0, and the report's own proposed
provisions themselves were pretty well harmonized, as Judy Brewer, Gregg
Vanderheiden, and others from WCAG were on TEITAC.  Expect Access Board

Hi,

 

Does anybody know when (or if and how) Section 508 will be updated to
include WCAG 2.0?

 

In general, is there a channel notifying about legal applications of the
WCAG that I can subscribe to? Are the WCAG 2.0 already part of any law (US,
EU, UK, Australia, India, etc.)?
