Accessible "munging" of e-mail addresses on web sites

Hi All

I would be interested in any views on "munging" (disguising) e-mail 
addresses on web sites to prevent their being harvested by spammers 
(senders of unsolicited bulk e-mail).

This is the format I have been using:
matt at kbc dot net dot au

I guess this would at least work with screen readers, although I don't 
know how they would say "au"; "ay you" or "ow"?

Any better suggestions would be appreciated.
