I am aware of this, I am also aware that there are platforms that need it
now so if this work will rendedr currently inaccessible platforms
inaccessible from the server end, I am all for it, but my work with certain
institutions seems to indicate that they will not accept anything outside
their particular circle of favorites no matter how secure or reliable or up
to date they are.

I wonder if you are aware of the work of INCITS V2 - I think accessible
banking will get a boost when their work takes effect...
