ATutor 1.3 Released

Hello all WAI-IG members

Excuse the self-promoting post.  ATutor should be of interest to all 
advocates of Web accessibility and online learning for people with 
disabilities. We encourage list members to review ATutor and offer their 
feedback. Please redistribute this announcement.

ATutor is a Standards Compliant Open Source Web-based Learning Content 
Management System (LCMS) designed with accessibility and adaptability in 
mind. Administrators can install or update ATutor in minutes. Educators 
can quickly assemble, package, and redistribute Web-based learning 
objects, and conduct their courses online. Students learn in an adaptive 
learning environment.

ATutor is XHTML 1.0 ,  WCAG 1.0 AA+ , and IMS CP 1.1.3 compliant.

New Features in the V1.3 release include:

-IMS compliant content packaging utilities for creating interoperable 
learning objects;  

-Course categories for sorting courses by topic;

-Course list import/export tool;

-Improved accessibility for people with disabilities;

-Course search engine;
... and many more fixes and enhancements.
