Dr. Cynthia D. Waddell will be the Technology Plenary Speaker at the 2003 ADA Statewide Conference, which will be held on November 4, 5 and 6, 2003, at the Rosen Center Hotel, 9840 International Drive, in Orlando. This year's conference theme is "Empowerment through Education" and Dr. Waddell's training and sharing her experiences in the Wild, Wild Web will certainly be educational, and entertaining.

A familiar name to anyone who shares her interest in accessible web site design, Dr. Waddell is a renowned author as well as the force behind the International Center for Disability Resources on the Internet (ICDRI). She will provide an overview of significant events, law and policy issues concerning the Internet as well as discuss how ICDRI and other disability rights champions are changing the face of the Internet. In addition, Dr. Waddell will conduct technical web design training for Webmasters and Chief Information Officers. The flyer attached describes the training, as well as Dr. Waddell's co-presenters and contains more details about her impressive background.

The registration fee for this year's ADA Statewide Conference is $100 for a one-day registration or $250 for the three day conference. Just in case you have not received a registration package, I've attached one to this note, as well as an Exhibitor/Sponsor form - we're looking for sponsors for folks who want to attend the conference but lack the funds for travel, etc. The early bird deadline for registration and also for making hotel reservations is Monday, October 13th. For more information on this, please call 850-222-0080, or email adaconference@aol.com.

The goal is to have everyone in Florida who is involved with people with disabilities, the ADA, and systems change projects get together and have a lively and productive exchange of ideas. For our part, we are still in the process of inviting exciting speakers and exhibitors, arranging informative seminars and workshops, and making sure everyone is informed about the conference. We're also very grateful for the outpouring of support we've received from people and businesses throughout Florida, which has been very gratifying.

Please share the materials attached with your friends, colleagues and consumers.

We look forward to seeing you in Orlando, in November, and thank you kindly for your interest in this project!
