[Media] Visual verification methods "block the blind"

Many companies are providing registration forms where a visitor has to
correctly enter a word, a number or a series of random characters appearing
in an image. This is used as a means of preventing scripted and automated
signups - to prevent one individual from signing up for thousands of
accounts in a very short period of time. As a result an inaccessibility is
introduced. Looks like the online media have noticed this:
