How the User Agent/browser/assistive technology renders the longdesc's URL
is not specified.  However,  HPR displays long descriptions as a link
[image description]. To display the links list in HPR, type Ctrl+L. Look
for the phrase "image description." just after the image.
 I believe Mozilla displays the Longdesc when right mouse clicking on the image in a context     
 menu. Not sure about Lynx, IE, and Opera.
