I reported a problem with this and my beloved hp320LX*

I believe this was put down to backwards compatibility being not necessary.

for various convoluted reasons, I recently put wince3.0 aka pc2002 on an ipaq 3850, and find the similar effect namely:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

*is rendered as text.

is there a workaround?

am I the only mug bothering with this?

thanks

jonathan
