Re: applets

I'm currently working with a site developper which has implemented a
roll over it seems that triggers an event pop up and the only way I even
knew it was there was to look at the source after discussing this with
the service group  the link does not show up at all in any way shape or
form in the jaws rendering of the page.

Isn't this just a problem when the applet is in-line on the page.  If it
is
launched into a new browser window, then one can easily keyboard
navigate
between windows and navigate within the window/applet.  Would this work
for
you?

Provide an alternative version of the link somewhere else on the page.
(frustrating - there are ways of making this possible but they are not
yet
widely enough implemented). You should also provide the link as
alternative
content, but some keyboard users may have Java enabled and so not get
the
alternative content - again frustrating but the way things are
implemented
at
the moment.
