RE: Tree Navigation

Sharon

Our University has created a browser-based tree navigation system that is
generated dynamically according to the hierarchy of directories on the server
where the web pages are stored. Unfortunately the sites are all password
protected so it is not possible to send you the URL.

There are problems, however, not the least being the browser requirements as
the system only functions using latest versions of browsers (IE 5.5 or later,
NS 6, Opera). I am currently workoing with IT staff to try to find a
work-around to this problem - but our most likely last resort will be to
create a no-frames version of the site. Far from ideal, but it may be our only
option if we want to ensure all users, can access the sites functionally using
any browser .

I notice you have an Australian email address. If you ever in Adelaide you are
welcome to give me a call and arrange to visit one of our campuses for a demo.
