Job Title: Best Practice Officer -  Accessible Websites
This is a temporary contract, initially for 2 years    
Salary:        18,546 - 23,895 (plus London weighting if applicable)
Scale:         SO1/PO2
Location: London or Peterborough, UK
Hours:         36 per week

Information Services (ISD) is RNIB's corporate information and
publishing team. Our library, inquiries, website and publishing
services develop and distribute information that influences
public attitudes and changes the lives of people with sight
difficulties.  Our mission is to make RNIB a leading information
resource for blind and partially sighted people, and we need
dynamic people to help us achieve it.
RNIB actively campaigns for websites to be accessible to
everyone. Working with clients across all sectors, the Best
Practice Officer will provide auditing, consultancy and training
services, and help in raising awareness of the need for
accessible website design.  You must be able to work on your
own initiative and under pressure. This role is communications
and business-led, but requires detailed understanding of web
technology and its future potential.

Salary:        21,027 - 26,376
Scale:         SO1/PO2
Location: London
Hours: 36 per week

developing and maintaining our website and intranet. With a
least two years' experience of corporate website development,
you will have the drive and know-how to develop innovative
online services and information products. You must have the
confidence and teamworking abilities needed to work closely
with staff throughout a large and complex organisation.
