Re: Minutes: April 17, 2018 AGWG Teleconference

Thanks Mike,

For people who weren’t there, I’d like to highlight the two main actions:

  1. Respond to the PR request, i.e. reply to Andrew’s email with the subject: “CFC - Advance WCAG 2.1 to Proposed Recommendation”

  2. Please pick one or two understanding documents to review:
https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wiki/Wcag21-understanding-documents

The wiki page is just a mechanism to spread-out the reviews of each understanding document, I’d like to get 2-3 for each doc, but at least 1 for each by next week.

Thanks to everyone who signed up already, we’ve 6 left which don’t have a reviewer yet so please add yourself if you have a few minutes to look at one (or two, or three).

The basics to cover are:

  * Does it include the things it should [1]
  * Does it provide understanding of the SC! (It is especially helpful if you sign up for one you’re less familiar with.)
  *   Are there errors or phrasing issues (editorial);
  * Does it list enough techniques? (Techniques will be the next step, we don’t expect them to exist yet, but we should know what they are.)

Follow the link to add comments in the main github thread.

If you are confident with github please do make the updates to the doc directly. If they are significant edits (e.g. adding/removing sections) please create a branch off from the understanding-doc branch and then submit a merge request. (Email the chairs if you’d like help with that.)

Thanks,

-Alastair
