I would fail a title or contact information in multimedia under SC 1.2.3/SC 1.2.5 if they were not provided in the alternative or audio description. If these are provided in the audio description then someone might ask why the contrast of these elements is important. One of my favorite requirements from CVAA is the operable with low vision and hard of hearing -- without relying on audio.

I’m struggling to think back to an example that wouldn’t have failed under 1.1.1 / 1.2.x as well. I’m sure it is possible, but I don’t think people rely on visible-only text in video in general. We don’t do much auditing of educational products though, I imagine it is much more likely there.

It does seem like something that should be covered, if it is relied on as the only method of conveying that information.
