Keyboard is not a device sensor

A device sensor is a device component that detects and responds to some type of input from the physical environment.  Examples on mobile devices are the measurement of motion, orientation, and various environmental conditions.

·       Motion sensors
These sensors measure acceleration forces and rotational forces along three axes. This category includes accelerometers, gravity sensors, gyroscopes, and rotational vector sensors.
·       Environmental sensors
These sensors measure various environmental parameters, such as ambient air temperature and pressure, illumination, and humidity. This category includes barometers, photometers, and thermometers.
·       Position sensors
These sensors measure the physical position of a device. This category includes orientation sensors and magnetometers.

In the absence of a specific protocol, I too agree that we may have been a bit hasty, and that further discussion is warranted here. Josh and Andrew, can this topic be re-added to the agenda for Tuesday 6/27? Steve has raised valid points which I believe warrant the additional review. Thanks!

These are happening now: "OK Google", (Cortana, Siri, Alexa) for speech input that commences a more complex action (searching), and I now have multiple apps on my cell phone that allows for my thumb-print to "log-in". The future is now :-)
