CALL FOR CONSENSUS – ends Friday May 27 at 09:30am Boston time.

The WG discussed changes proposed in the Understanding documents for SC 1.4.3 and SC 1.4.6 (Contrast requirements) in order to clarify the meaning of “large-scale text”. A pull request with the changes proposed (https://github.com/w3c/wcag/pull/188/files?diff=split) was discussed and agreed on during the call (http://www.w3.org/2016/05/24-wai-wcag-minutes.html).

The underlying issue was discussed extensively in Issue 181 (https://github.com/w3c/wcag/issues/181) and this discussion was the basis for the proposed changes.

Please review the specific approved changes (https://github.com/w3c/wcag/pull/188/files?diff=split).

If you have concerns about this proposed consensus position that have not been discussed already and feel that those concerns result in you “not being able to live with” this position, please let the group know before the CfC deadline.

Thanks,
AWK
