We are interested in the feedback and thoughts of others on this proposal.

I think it’s a good proposal for this working group to adopt.

In particular, I welcome the recognition that the entire working group should engage in developing and reviewing success criteria and requirements put forward by the task forces. I also consider it appropriate to set an end date after which new requirements are postponed for consideration in a subsequent version of WCAG. The proposal also retains the principle of extending, rather than revising, the WCAG 2.0 specification, which suitably confines the scope of the planned work.

Planning of the next major version of the WAI guidelines also needs to proceed, as the proposal acknowledges.
