RE: Enabling Zoom on Mobile Devices

• Default Device Browser: Does many weird things. Potrait View: is missing most of the content (just header with bland grey screen). Landscape View: Show the content but it is all spread out horizontally. You have to swipe right or left to see the content. Neither view scales!

Hi Katie,

I think (as James suggested) either there is a setting change, or it is a bug in Firefox that could get ‘fixed’.

Chrome is behaving normally, it doesn’t allow zoom but if you go horizontal then it expands to fill the view. You should be able to go into the settings and over-ride the zoom behavior and increase the text size.

It sounds like the default browser isn’t coping with the CSS used for the layout very well. I was experimenting with flexbox on my site, and my cross-browser testing was not extensive, I think IE10 was the oldest browser I tested with! I didn’t test with old versions of the default (pre-Chrome) browser.

Thanks for having a look.
