What happens when invalid code creates issues for anybody?


Let me also add to the discussion:

* There are always ways to work around issues validly, so there is no need
to undermine other W3C efforts (needed to say it this way).

* Invalidly addressing one issue probably causes another issue, just cutting
out other people.

* This generally is a somewhat "ideological" issue, and it is an opportunity
to set a signal and to strengthen important specifications (which were
designed with accessibility in mind).
