You all presumably received a message from Yahoo Groups saying that
w3c-wai-gl had been subscribed to the chetana-jobs list. I have
associated my email address with w3c-wai-gl@w3.org so that I can
unsubscribe us, and make sure we don't get subscribed again. You'll
probably see a message to that effect coming shortly, so don't be
alarmed.

Chetana-jobs is a mailing list for Indian engineering grads (aka
"freshers") to track job leads. It has nothing to do with
accessibility. Someone was kind enough to subscribe the User Agent WG
to this list a couple of years ago, and it caused no end of
headaches, including the pollution of our list archives by list
messages and crossposts, and numerous subsequent requests to join the
list by people who are looking for work. I'm hoping I can end this
nonsense before it begins here.
