Listed below are the changes made in response to the actions from our last teleconference. The following 4 tests were rejected: Text equivalents for applet must be updated if applet changes (applets not covered in HTML tests) http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test24.html input element, type of "text", must have default text (no longer needed) http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test63.html Document must have address for author (does not improve accessibility) http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test143.html Document address must be valid (does not improve accessibility) http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test144.html Changed "document" to "content" in tests 97 and 109. Actually, I did a global replace so all references to "document" are now to "content". I'm not sure this is correct for all tests but we can change this later when we do a good wordsmithing on the documents. Tests 97 and 109 were also rejected from the HTML test suite because they deal with CSS and should really go in the CSS test suite. They will be moved over when that test suite exists. http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test97.html http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test109.html Fixed prerequisite for test 194. Alt text for all area elements contains all non decorative text in the image area. http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test194.html Test 92 has been changed per Becky's suggestions. All select elements do not cause an extreme change in context http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test92.html Test 168 has been changed to apply to radio buttons only. All radio button groups are marked using fieldset and legend elements http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test168.html Test 66 now has working test files and text was changed as per Michael's suggestion. area link to sound file must have text transcript http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test66.html Test 198 was changed to legend quality and many fixups in test files. legend text describes the group of choices http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test198.html Tests 199 and 200 were created to deal with legend. legend text is not empty or whitespace http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test199.html legend text is not placeholder text http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/test200.html As always, the test suite status can be found at: http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/tests/checkstatus.html Cheers, Chris
