Joe: Yeah, consider those incomprehensible numbers, clear only to insiders.

GV: Joe, this is the working maillist of the guidelines working group.
Everyone on the working group does know what these mean - because they are
clear references to sections of a W3C standard that is specified in the same
sentence.

Joe: I'm sure we'd all agree if you weren't talking in code.

GV:  Again - this would be clear to anyone who is actively following the
working group.   Being on this list assumes you are doing so.   The IG list
is for people who are not following the work and here to contribute (or
silently lurk).
