We've been working on a test suite that can be used to check for conformance
to the guidelines. It clearly describes what the guidelines mean.

The working group has been talking about this for the last while but maybe
it's time for wider discussion. To see the test suite, still unfinished,
please take a look at:

Here's an example of the test for "image missing alt":

Note that this has not been endorsed by the working group or anyone at the
W3C. The document is still in a very rough form.
