Sorry, it was a bit rude, was just making sure that my head was not in as
much as a daze as I thought it was!  In regards to your entire post - I
totally agree.

I don't see any need for META refresh or any such tags - if the page needs
to be refreshed it should be left for the user to do so (Accessibility
aside, it annoys me when pages are refreshed and change while I am in the
middle of reading the page).
