TECH-CSS: Use numbers, not names, for colors

Hi,

I'm currently translating [1] into german and I do not understand the
following:

[...]
9.1 Color Contrast
[...]
  Use numbers, not names, for colors.
[...]

The deprecated example uses 'red' as color-keyword. For me 'red' maps to
rgb(255,0,0), so whats bad about it?
