How is it going, Resource Managers?

Greeting brave pathfinders,

Brent and I are hoping that editors got to meet this week in lieu of our
Friday teleconference. I wanted to check in and see how things are going
and what support you may need. To that end, a few tips and back to you for
any questions or issues that may have popped up as you started to work on
these materials.

*For editors:*
- As you make your project plan for how you are approaching the resource,
please document it on the Timelines page of the Google sheet
<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nJb1_PNbT6bMEz0AuWA1HRj-w2LeujXMatvmajYS4is/edit#gid=1858500852>we
are using to plan and track progress
- Remember to consult these for guidance:

General Info for Editors and Reviewers

- Give your review team plenty of notice about what is coming to them when
- Be clear about how you want to gather feedback - GitHub is a preferred
option and Shawn can make a dedicated listserve if it is helpful to you.
Surveys are an option - let staff or chairs know what you need.
- Ask for any help you need - that is our job and we are hap-hap-happy to
support you.

*For reviewers:*
- remember to indicate the weight of your comment. Is it 'editor's
discretion' or 'moderate' or 'strong'
- rather than say "I don't like that sentence (or word or paragraph)
suggest a replacement.
- always respond to your editors - even if only to say "I am slammed this
week, won't be able to help" and indicate when you may jump back in.

Thank you again awesome team. With your help, the new web site will be
filled with crisp, clear, useful information for everyone all over the
world trying to make the web more accessible. You are simply fantastic!

Gratefully,
Sharron, Brent, and Shawn
