All comments for editor’s discretion and I’m happy to make the 
changes if you agree. (Because nobody should suffer of my nitpickiness 
apart from myself.) :-D

As version numbers matter less today, at least for browsers, writing the 
version number out like that dates the article immediately. Also we 
probably should include MS Edge here.

I’d change to:

* the operating system you are using, and the version; for
   example, Windows 10, macOS 10.13, or Linux Ubuntu 17.10
* the browser software you use to view the Web, and the version; for
   example, Edge, Internet Explorer (IE), Firefox, Chrome, Opera, 
Safari, etc.
* the version number of the browser

I think we should drop the “V.” in “V.11” because this format is 
not used anywhere.

Having version numbers in the examples is useful for illustration 
purposes.
