RE: EOWG: For 30 May Teleconference - Benefits of WCAG 2.0 material

I think we can cut some of the slides:
Slide 2 has to be updated
Slide 3 and 29 are almost identical is the repeat necessary?
Slide 4 and 5 and can be removed if there is no need for a more general introduction to how WCAG is developed.
Slide 6 might be the same as for slide 4 and 5.
Slide 8 and 9 are more about W3C/WAI's work process of developing recommendations and supporting documents.
Slide 11 - 13 is an example of how WCAG 2.0 is more testable. This is a benefit.
Slide 15 can be cut and go directly from slide 14 to 16
Slide 21 - 24 the supporting materials and implementation guidance is absolutely a benefit.
Slide 25 - 27 not sure if necessary
I think some of the last slides are necessary as "commercials" for other WAI resources, as credits to the authors and copyright notices, etc
This will reduce the presentation to 21 slides and maybe we could include a new slide or change slide 29 to Wayne's suggestion for the new quick tips - or put it in the start of the presentation.
I still think there is a need for such a short presentation and I would use it together with the new hand-outs and quicktips like Wayne's.

Subject: EOWG: For 30 May Teleconference - Benefits of WCAG 2.0 material

EOWG,

Updated "Benefits of WCAG 2.0" presentation material is at:
http://www.w3.org/WAI/presentations/WCAG20_benefits/WCAG20_benefits-presentation-format.ppt

Please review it, send comments to the list, and prepare to discuss it at the upcoming teleconference. Specifically:
* Does this cover the topic sufficiently? Is anything missing?
Note that we want this to be very tightly focused on the benefits; the About WCAG presentation <http://www.w3.org/WAI/presentations/WCAG20_about/> covers broader topics.
* Is there anything we might want to cut to make it shorter and more succinct?

Background e-mail is below.
Minutes from previous EOWG discussion is at <http://www.w3.org/2008/05/09-eo-minutes#item03>

Regards,
~Shawn
