EOWG'ers -

Cynthia Waddell and myself [representing The International Center for
Disability Resources on the Internet (ICDRI)] are currently speaking at a
kick-off meeting for Serbian technology accessibility in Belgrade. As part
of the activity, the Serbian President announced that Serbia will be signing
the UN Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Optional
Protocol this month.

We also would like to let you know that the United Nations Global Alliance
for ICT (information and communications technology) and Development has
launched an updated website for their flagship initiative - the Global
Alliance for Inclusive ICTs. It now contains an expert zone section.

In the expert zone section, Cynthia Waddell serves as the Government
Services Expert and will be posting resources and blogging on accessible ICT
efforts worldwide. You can visit the website at http://www.g3ict.com and
view the Expert zone on the right hand side of the page.

Have a great day!

Regards,

Mark D. Urban

Vice-Chair, ICDRI

(The International Center for Disability Resources <http://www.icdri.org/>
on the Internet)

Past Chair, NC Governor's Advocacy Council for Persons with Disabilities
