European Internet Accessibility Observatory and W3C/WAI

Hi Group,
 
does anyone know anything about the project "European Internet Accessibility
Observatory" www.eiao.net? 

It may be interesting and in a public interview, the italian member said
that "EIAO project works together with W3C/WAI", but on their web site I
haven't found anything about this collaboration. Can anyone help me
understanding? Is really WAI involved in any way?
