Has anyone thought of getting WAI issues involved in the Web Standards
Project (http://www.webstandards.org/)?

This may allow us to push for standards involving Web accessibility and
give us a platform to reach Web developers and, in turn, influence those
who produce agents and tools.

Thoughts?
