For the record, this was submitted to the WCAG-WG on behalf of the AUWG. -------- Original Message -------- (the AUWG is not requesting any changes, so this is just a comment) To the WCAG-WG, The AUWG wishes to remind the WCAG-WG of the important dependency that the upcoming ATAG 2.0 document has on WCAG 2.0. In particular, 1) the AUWG is satisfied with the "Authoring tools" section of WCAG 2.0 - and anticipates coordinating the version wording as both documents head towards recommendation status. 2) The AUWG is satisfied with the WCAG2.0 conformance model described in: http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/conformance.html However, since the ATAG2.0 conformance model (http://www.w3.org/WAI/AU/2006/WD-ATAG20-20060621/WD-ATAG20-20060621.html#Conformance-Model) relies normatively on WCAG 2.0 conformance (as it is defined in the previous WCAG 2.0 reference), the AUWG requests to be alerted to any proposed changes to the WCAG 2.0 conformance model in order to review and comment.
