WCAG 2.0 authorised translation in Arab, LTO submission of intent

Dear all,

This is to inform that the research Laboratory of Technologies of
Information and Communication UTIC of the University of Tunis, is willing
to act as the Lead Translation Organisation (LTO) for producing an
authorised translation of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 in
Arab. This work is kindly supported by:
- Basma Association for the Promotion of Employment for persons with
disabilities, Tunisia 
- Tunisian Union for the Blind 
- Ministry of Social Affairs, Solidarity and Tunisians Abroad 
- Ministry of Communication Technologies,Tunisia.

Following the policy for Authorised W3C Translations
(http://www.w3.org/2005/02/TranslationPolicy), we have identified and
invited over 22 Arabic organisations (over 28 people) to review the
translation, as the relevant Arabic stakeholders of the field.

So far the following 22 different organisations have accepted the
invitation (listed below in arbitrary order, based on information compiled
by us):

Finally, in order to help the work of the reviewers, we have already
produced a version of the translation. Should the W3C accept our LTO
Submission, we will propose that version as the Candidate Authorised
Translation (CAT), available at http://www.utic.rnu.tn/wcag2.0/
