authorized translation

Funka Nu AB hereby applies to make an authorized translation of WCAG 2.0

This is our proposal, please let me know if something is missing or if you need something more formal than this or what you expects us to do now to get this started.

Our plan is to have three levels of participation:

Drafting committee - smaller group of experts that really works and makes decisions. Meets physically when needed but mainly works on line. The drafting committee have agreed to work with this translation actively.

Stakeholders - bigger group including organizations that we consider "must" or should be involved but that do not have the time or maybe the expertise to really do the job. The stakeholders have agreed to review the drafts and end-document and promote the result.

Everyone - we will put up a blog/forum where the public can comment on every draft, every time. We hope for a lot of ideas!

We intend to work very openly and try to involve as many as possible, but we do think that a smaller group of experts/staff can work quicker.

If possible and ok with W3C, we plan to start with a meeting in June but the real work will start for real after the summer holidays.
