Re: W3C in 7 points french translation

Well... We have recently deprecated the W3C in 7 point document, in fact. Instead, a new
(though more verbose) document has been created that we feel give a better view of what
W3C is all about. The URI of these pages are in:

http://www.w3.org/Consortium/

or, if you prefer on single HTML page:

http://www.w3.org/Consortium/about-w3c.html

At this very moment we do not have a project yet to translate that into French; of course,
it would be a great contribution to us if you did this.

We are responsible for promoting the Internet policies that ensure equal access to information for all Canadians. In our accessibility section of our standards we link to your web page titled "W3C in 7 points" : <http://www.w3.org/Consortium/Points/>. Due to the bilingual obligation of our official language legislation and policies we were linking to a French version of the above page that is no longer available. We are enquiring if a French replacement page will soon be available and if not if you would consider allowing us to translate the page so that you could host it on your Web site?
