"XHTML Media Types" translation in French

Hi,

This is my first post to this list. My name is Sébastien Guillon, I'm  
a French web designer.

I would like to propose the translation into French of the W3C Note  
of 1 August 2002:
XHTML Media Types (http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml-media-types/xhtml-media- 
types.html)

I haven't started yet so any pointers, caveats or help are appreciated.
